Black Lightning is The CW’s superhero series developed by Salim Akil, starring Cress Williams as the retired hero pulled back into the fight. Based on the DC Comics character created by Tony Isabella and Trevor Von Eeden, the series stars Williams alongside China Anne McClain, Nafessa Williams, Christine Adams, Marvin Jones III, Damon Gupton and James Remar, following Black Lightning’s return to the hero life and its effects on his family.
SCANable performed 3D scanning of stage sets and various objects for the series, providing LiDAR data to support the show’s visual effects work.
