Highmark’s “Community Blue Hospitals” is a 2013 commercial brought to life with computer-generated visual effects by studio Animal, blending live-action photography with CG animation.
As part of the visual effects team, SCANable provided LiDAR 3D laser scanning and modeling services for the spot. The point-cloud data was used for camera tracking and to execute the CG door replacements and animations seen in the finished commercial.
