HBO ‘Westworld’

HBO’s Westworld, produced by Bad Robot, is a one-hour drama exploring the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin. The series features Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Angela Sarafyan, and Simon Quarterman. Set in a high-tech amusement park peopled by robots and designed to deliver a completely lifelike experience, the story follows guests on a wild west adventure that turns deadly when the park’s central computer breaks down, the robots run amok, and the visitors find themselves stalked by a robot gunslinger.

SCANable performed 3D scans of the robot skeletal structures used throughout the series, providing accurate digital models for the show’s computer-generated visual effects.
