Teacup is a Peacock sci-fi drama that premiered in 2024, following a scientist whose mysterious teacup opens gateways to alternate realities. The critically acclaimed series stars Claire Marlowe, a brilliant but reclusive scientist who explores a new world each episode, confronting unresolved traumas and moral dilemmas while racing shadowy forces that seek to exploit the teacup’s power. Visual effects were integral to the show — cutting-edge CGI, particle simulations, and motion capture brought its interdimensional portals, otherworldly landscapes, and non-human characters to vivid life while ensuring seamless interaction between actors and digital elements.
